A recent poll determined the top two reasons why people visit Park City:
1) The beautiful natural setting.
2) Outstanding and diverse recreation.
Both require the preservation of our wild and open spaces!
Next time you’re in Park City, we want it to look a lot like the last time you were here. Park City is surrounded entirely by private land. That land is valuable--and without protection-- will soon be home to new condos, homes, shopping centers or other developments. Fortunately, we have two local champions preserving our open spaces—the Summit Land Conservancy and Utah Open Lands. We have implemented a new program with Summit Lands to help fund their land acquisitions. By staying with us, you can be part of the solution. We charge a 1% open space fee to every reservation which goes directly to Summit Lands to protect land (like the field and barn above). This is in addition to the 1% For the Planet ‘earth tax’ which we already contribute to the array of environmental non-profits shown at right. Thanks for your help in preserving the wild places which make Park City a special place to visit and live.
