The Blue Iguana, currently located at 628 Park Avenue is movin' on up into the newly remodeled, elevated restaurant at the Treasure Mountain Inn...and they're opening for breakfast starting on Memorial Day Weekend.

Thanks to Traveler's Insurance for returning Historic Bark [sic] City to its rightful owners. Travelers Insurance, with the help of Smuggler Films and some Hollywood magic, brought all the best things to Main Street--dogs (lots and lots of dogs), early snow (not all of it real), an old fashioned charcuterie, Christmas, and most noticeably, people and activity. All of this in early November...

Yeah, yeah. We know. It's April Fool's day (almost), but thanks to the 350+ inches of snow year-to-date, we're still skiing. In fact, with all this white stuff lying around and falling from the sky, we'd be foolish if we WEREN'T skiing!

The 2011 Slamdance Film Festival, which concluded Thursday with an Awards Ceremony at Treasure Mountain Inn, received a record number of over 5,000 submissions and programmed 83 films this year. 2011 marked the 17th anniversary of the Slamdance Film Festival, one of the few remaining film festivals whose sole mission is to support truly independent works from first-time filmmakers staying true to its mission of “by filmmakers, for filmmakers.”
