Our favorite guerilla filmmakers will be back for their 19^th season in Park City and 18^th year at the Treasure Mountain Inn.   Slamdance takes place every January in Park City, Utah at the exact same time as the Sundance Film Festival, to provide an alternative representation of independent filmmaking.  For their 2013 schedule and list of films visit their website: SLAMDANCE.com

Up-and-coming writers, directors and producers, alongside seasoned veterans and film lovers, converge for the weeklong celebration of independent cinema, realizing that Slamdance is a great place to find those next, great, visionary films.

Festival discoveries have included directors Christopher Nolan (Memento), Marc Forster (Monster's Ball), Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) and Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity). Slamdance also attracts renowned alumni including Larry Clark and Steven Soderbergh.
